Hi there,
you will need to have the lower strut mount(2 bolts), tie rod and ball joint undo so the hub will swing out far enough to be able to get the shaft splined end back in the hub, fit the shaft in the transmission and make sure it is fully home, if it is the shaft with the support bearing, bold this up at this stage, swing the hub up and around have the steering on full lock as well, grease up the splines with a copper coat spray and insert into hub, make suer it is seated fully and re assemble all components, re tighten spline nut after a test drive and always use new split pins each time.
