Have an '86 Honda Accord LX. Can anyone tell me where the motor for the sunroof is located? :(

Also, have a problem with my driver's window. All others roll down. Have taken door apart, looked at the contacts on the switch. None are burnt or broken. Any ideas?

Thanks to this forum I did figure out what was wrong with the loud noise in driver's door when using the power unlock. Actuator. Thanks ya'll for all the help.

The motor is in the roof between the outer skin and the inner liner.

You could try to short the motor to see if it still works on the door window and if the motor still runs there is extra junk on the driver window switch so that it will go down all the way on a one touch. But by either bypassing that or replacing the switch you could have it working again.
