As of yesterday when I started my car the light that shows me the radio stations and the temperature of the car doesn't go on so the screen is black. The radio works and the AC also works. Is it a fuse or a light bulb or something else please let me know.

Thanks

Yes, its more than likely that its your fuses. If not its a dimmer switch

My radio light is out as well on my 04 Accord EX. The radio works fine as long as you can remember your presets and the AC and everything functions. I can faintly see info at the right angle and the right time of day. I have checked fuses and do not see any blown. Do you know what fuse it is that may control that (your response Saturday said fuse) or if it is a dimmer switch what does that mean? When I adjust the light on the dash, my instrument panel responds to brighter or dimmer, just not the radio anymore.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
BK

Thats what I mean when I say dimmer switch, that switch you used to adjust the lighting. There should be an instrument cluster or illumination fuse. That goes to that. Im gonna try and get you some more info, hold tight

Honda put out service bulletin #04-027 on Feb 5, 2008 covering this problem. It will be covered by warranty unless you have over 100,000 miles on your car. I had the same problem, took it in, and they fixed it at no cost. Appx. 2 hrs.

There it is, take it to the dealer and mention the technical service bulletin that Dan mentioned, and you should be ok
