Hi there,

I would change the timing belt soon. Better than destroying the motor if it fails. It is due so don't delay to long.

The timing belt on these cars see to be pretty durable. I will not tell you when to change it, but I will tell you, if this belt breaks there will be serious damage done to your engine. If this belt breaks, and a valve is stuck open, then the piston will hit it and bend the valve. This can also shatter the rocker shaft and ruin a piston. I will also tell you that changing this belt is not cheap, however considering all the damage that can be done it's probably best to change it at around 100,000 miles. This is usually the limit of this belt.
