I own a 2000 Honda Accord EX 6-cylinder that has been hesistating when applying the gas at low speeds for the past several months now. Sometimes there will be no hesitation but most of the times there will be. I tried different gas, I tried fuel injector cleaner (techron) but problem persists. I even tried cleaning the EGR valve, as best I could. The hesitation seems to be more prevelent at low speeds. The "Check Engine" light is not on (and yes it does light up when I first turn the car on so I know the bulb is good). The plugs were changed after the problem arose. Can it be the EGR valve? I saw something in the paper one day about Honda's and EGR valves. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a good day.

Sometimes it can be caused by a bad plug wire. Sometimes it can come from a dirty air filter or fuel filter.

Yep, a low speed hesitation is generally caused by a dirty throttle body, here are two guides and instruction below to show you to fix the problem.

and this guide can show you how to service the throttle body

Be sure to clean both sides of the butterfly. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
