Have a '99 accord LX, 145 000 miles, automatic and do not have a owner manual. how do I know if a have a ABS or not?
Also, after my car runs for a while my rmp's are down to 500 and in summer when's really hot outside engine turns off and on while driving. It does not do that in winter, but it still low in rmp's.

Hi zmaj,

ABS equipped vehicle would have the dash meter showing a sign with the wording ABS and would illuminate at initial key on. Any fault with the system would have the lamp showing when running vehicle.

The low rpm could be due to a dirty throttle body and its air passages including the IAC. GEt it cleaned up and readjust the idling speed and problem should be solved.
