It has been hesitating when pulling off and when I go over 40 and slow down it does a shaking like it is about to cut off.

Firstly, I would do a thorought throttlebody and throttle plate cleaning, I think it may just be that the intake system is dirty, throw a bottle of cleaner in the gas tank and see how it goes, if it doesnt clear up then you may need to have someone take a look at the idle air control valvle.
