Hi. Stupid question here. I need to replace the rear rotors on my 98 Accord. Is there a difference in the rotors required between the 4 cly's and V6's? Also, does the number of doors matter as in either a 2DR or 4DR model.

I KNOW how stupid that actually sounds but I have a good reason for asking, bought some rotors on ebay and the guy is telling me there is no difference between the 4 or 6 cyls on the rotors, but there IS a difference in whether it's a 2 or 4DR model!

Just thought I'd ask the folks that would KNOW! Thanks for any info or insites you can give me on this! Paul

Hi watchtower218,

There are identification marks on the rotors, get them and compare and you would know if they matches.

The identification marks consists of diameters, thickness etc.

Different engine types might have different rotors size.

4 & 6 have different part numbers. Matching up is the only way to see. The pads are the same so they may fit.
