I recently had my car overheat, and had to drive about 1 mile before it was safe to pull over. I then changed the heater hose that blew, the thermostat and the radiator which cracked. It ran fine for a day then bean missing, on cyl 3. I changed the plugs out which apparently got so hot they fused with the wires, so I subsequently changed them and the distributor cap. Ran like a top for three days, I've been driving it alot trying to get it to act up. However now it has begun missing on startup. It runs rough for about 5 secs then runs as smooth as it did before.

I don't know what to think warped head? Blown gasket?

Hi misery,

Thanks for the donation.

Yes, looks like the head gasket has a problem and there is compression leaks which is more prominent when cold.

Get presure test done to confirm it.

Apart from refacing the head, check the block surface for warpage. Any prolonged use of the engine would cause more damages so it is advisable to get it done asap.
