Well as stated, 98 Honda Accord. Never any major problems, Recently noticed tranny starting to slip when reaching speeds of 35-45 miles an hour. I have never had the tranny flushed since owning the vehicle. Could that solve the slipping? I was told that Honda's have a internal filter that doesnt need to change, is that true?

Hi CassavaP,

Slipping is usually caussed by a failing trans. The sealing rings are worn and leaking internally. Check if fliud level is correct. Low fluid would cause slipping.

Fluid filter is maintenance free item and replaement requires stripping the trans.
