Sometimes my car doesn't reconginize the key and I have to wait from a couple of minutes to up to 24 hours before it will start, or it just dies as I am driving. What can it be. Mechanics look at me like I am nuts because it doesn't happened to them when they are looking at it. It is not perdictable.
Forgot to mention that I have purchased a total of 3 keys so far from the Honda Dealers, so I know it isn't that problem.

Since so many different key has been used, it should not be due to the key.

The other thing likely to cause the problem would be the immobilizer receiver unit, mounted at the ignition switch assy. You would have to get that checked.

I have sent some info to you. Hope they are helpful.

Gallen17,
I'm noticing the same issue with my Accord. I was also thinking that the "chipped" key was the issue, I'm also thinking that a bad computer is also a possibility. I'm completly stumped. I've changed main relay, distributor(including coil & ECM), fuel pump, and the ignition switch and still no start. I feel as though that the issue is something so simple that I have overlookied it. If you, or anyone else, have any info or leads I would appreciate it much.
