1997 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic

The Belts came off of the car while I was driving it. When a friend tried to fix it he noticed that the ridged part of where the belts were on was stripped. What part is that, and would I be able to find it and fix it without having to purchase any other part to the engine.

Hi vallev3,

You must be referring to the crank pulley. The part that came off must be the harmonic balancer.

Apart from the belts, if they are damaged, you would need a new crank pulley.
