1996 Honda Accord 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My vehicle was currently involved in a fender bender and the air bags depliod the SRS light has been on since I am not replacing the air bags but would like to deactivate the feature. How can you turn off or reset the SRS light?

Hi corderoadrian,

There is no way to disable the SRS or reset the system if any component is not working.

Either you disconnect the SRS control unit and remove the indiator light bulb or you would have to restore the system to get the indicator light to go off.

Kindly take note that for some areas it is an offence to tamper with the system.
