Hey Guys. Father brought Honda Accord to a mechanic to replace whole clutch system (clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing); upon getting the car back, when he comes to a slow-down, and turns, there is a rubbing noise that occurs. Brought the car back to the mechanic. He made an adjustment and the car did not make the noise. Drove the car for approximately 400 miles, and brought the car back to the mechanic because the engine was making noise; found out that the throw out bearing went out, also needed to replace the slave cylinder (which was not damaged prior to replacing the clutch system). Mechanic replaced the slave cylinder, reinstalled a new clutch system (including the damaged throw out bearing) and the rubbing noise is still there. Any thoughts on what is causing this? Thanks for your help.
