Brakes problem
1992 Honda Accord

Hello I have a quick question regarding my 1992 Honda Accord ABS brake cable. After my car was stolen and returned by the police I noticed that the drivers side rear ABS sensor cable was cut. I went to a wrecking yard and picked one up. When I got home I realized that it was for the passenger side. I swapped out the brackets and hooked it up. My ABS light is not on but I am wondering is it being the wrong side will have any affect on it. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advace for your help.

You're welcome.

When the control unit senses any error, the indicator light would come on so without it incdicating, it means the sensors are compatible.

Honda uses a point type pick-up for the sensor so it does not matter left or right as long as the length and side are correct.

Thanks for the feedback.

Have a nice day.
