1991 Honda Accord window repair

1991 Honda Accord

my driver side window came off track i have the door panel off and just wondering how do i adjust the track so that it wont happen again. it is just the winodw crank style no power wondow no power locks just all old school (just the way i like it) so any tips or tricks would be helpful thanks

Hi e_eriksen,

Just make sure when going up there is no resistance and the glass travels up evenly. You need to check if the door glass runchannels are bad, that is the most common cause of the glass running off track.

Some silicone or wax based lubricants on the runchannels woud help while adjusting.

The rear 2 bolts for the regulator can be adjusted slightly to allw the glass to move up evenly.
