1991 Honda Accord Park lights!

My park lights don't work most of the time. If the car is in park with key in the on position the park lights work, but when I start the car the park lights shut off usually when I put it in drive. Sometimes it varies. What I noticed is that after driving for a bit the park lights come on wen I put the car in park and turn the engine off with the key in the on position. However my headlights come on either way. By the way I have daytime running lights. Thanks!
