Hay, I just purchased a 288 solid cam and lifters to put in my 304 5L vt an I need to know what else I need to do this upgrade or will the stock valves and springs and so on be capibale for this upgrade. Also what other upgrades I need to do for the best performance out of my motor

Hi there,

I would be checking the springs and seeing what up rated units are around, valves will be ok how much money do you want to spend as you can empty your wallet very quickly doing this work, basic stuff like headers, and cold air intakes are ok, then you can look at re chipping the ECU, but remember there is always something that is standard and with performance up grades this is the weakest link, things can and will fail if you start messing around to much.
