2002 Holden Barina 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My car has taken to randomly shuddering, losing power and stalling. A mechanic has looked at it and couldnt find a problem as it wasnt doing it at the time, His only suggestion was maybe water was getting into the plugs but it happened again at 5.30 this morning and there is no rain or condensation on it. Any suggestions.

Hopefully you've fixed your issue by now.

Otherwise, my guess is check the fuel filter and in-tank pump.
The Barinas have known fuel pump issues.
