I replaced a new timing chain with gears, a fuel pump, the distributor, oil change, spark plugs and wires, idle position sensor, throttle position sensor, and the air charge temperature sensor. Still does not change the fact that when I accelerate the truck to the next gear or from park to drive or reverse the truck wants to slow down and shut off. Shifts through gears fine but when I accelerate from gear to gear it hesitates. I can not seem to find the problem?

Good morning,

Wow, a lot of parts with no results.

I would start by having the back pressure tested on the cat converters to be sure the exhaust is not restricted.

Also, The injectors may also be the issue. I would have them professionally cleaned. Additives have no effect on cleaning.

Are there any codes set?

Roy

Okay, I would check the two items I listed to be sure they are not the issue.
