Hesitates when accelerating

Hello,
The engine of my car hesitates when I accelerate, it lacks power. I have checked the fuel pressure, it is within normal (38 psi). Clean the injectors but the problem continues.
In turn you can hear a noise in the muffler, like small explosions.

Sounds like your catalytic converter is coming apart internally and has partially clogged itself. To check it, take out the oxygen sensor that is closest to the engine and then take it for a ride. It will be loud as heck, so do not do it when the neighbors are sleeping. If the car is noticeably better, then you need a new catalytic converter. Try that and let us know.
