Great info. However, we need to go back to the refrigerant because if this is low then it may allow the compress to come on but it is not enough to allow the air to be cooled.
So we need to actually hook up a gauge set and see what the high and low side pressures are when the compressor is running. The other possible cause I am thinking of is the compressor is faulty so it is engaging but not actually creating the high pressure that it has to do. Again getting the high and low side with it running will tell us if this is the issue.
