Head gasket

We added Blue Devil head gasket sealer but then had water pump and replaced. Will the Blue Devil hurt the vehicle now that water pump has been replaced?

No, it shouldn't. Are you worried that adding the Blue Devil will harm the new water pump?

Yes and also if it will harm anything else in the cooling system or the engine??

What would happen if you put it in but turned out you didn't need it because it was a different problem?

Hello again,

It should just add to the gasket seals that were already there. I don't believe it would plug or gum anything up. Just to be sure keep an eye out on your vehicle's cooling system to see if it overheats.
