I have to try to start the car twice the first time it cranks and runs for a second the second time starts and runs fine. If it does not start the first time and you crank too long the second time it will not start and the security light flashes.

Good afternoon

The first thing I would check is the fuel pressure. it may be losing its prime overnight indicating the check valve in the fuel pump has failed. the first crank may be priming the system for the second attempt.

OK, what is the fuel pressure?

Is the check engine light on? If it is, do you know the codes?

Ok, the spec is 55 lbs. 51 is low and can cause this issue. Thats where I would start.

Roy

The tank has to be dropped in order to do the fuel pump.
