Had new clutch installed 3 years ago. Everything was find until this winter. When I try to first take off while cold outside( below 40 degrees) it is very difficult to shift from neutral to 1st gear. After driving a few minutes all works good.

Clutch fluid is the same as brake fluid and will absorb moisture out of the air and if its moist enough then the water could be freezing or causing the fluid to become thick when cold. The moisture content can be checked at service stations that do BG services. Or id just bleed it all out to replace it.
