My vehicle is a 1999 GMC Yukon with a 5.7 engine and 120,000.
The "servie engine soon" light came on after I replaced the intake manifold gasket because of a anti freeze leak.
My code reader says the code is P1345 which in my book says the is a camshaft to crankshaft corrleation fault.
Does this mean that I did not get the distributor back in exactly the same posistion as it was?
If so, how do I fix the problem?

You may have damaged or not installed the harness right for the camshaft sensor after repairing the intake manifold gasket. Do a thorough inspections of the harness and check connection points. As far as the vacuum gauge goes I like to connect it to the hose that goes to the pcv valve. It is easy to remove and get at. It also has a contstant vacuum and what is required to operate the gauge. A good vacuum reading will be 17-22 hg with a steady needle. BTY the needle reaction is more important then the actual reading. The gauge usually comes with a chart describing the different readings and what they mean. This is a good chart to have to refer to.
Good luck :D
