2002 GMC Yukon heated seats

My 2002 yukon heated seats on drivers side went out. Lite on switch comes on but no heat back or bottem?

you will need to check if there is power at the base of the seat and also check the resistance of the seat heater coils. if one of the seat heat coils burns out the whole seat will not work, because it would give too much current to the one that is still working thus causing a fire hazard
