I recently did brake work on my 96 gmc jimmy. I replaces caliper and pads on front right, both front rotors, pads on the drivers front and shoes on both rear wheels. I bled the line on the R front after replacing the caliper and now its all back together the brakes do not feel as if they are working. You have to press really hard, almost to the floor, to stop. I don't know what the problem is. I do not see any excessive wear on any part and everything seems fine but still having issues stopping. It is worse when backing up but also hard when trying to stp moving forward. Any advice?

Whenever you do any kind of brake work its always a good idea to bleed the brakes on all 4 wheels not only to remove any air from the system but also to get some cleaner fluid in the system. Your issue could be a fluid leak the easiest way to find that out is to pump the brakes (make sure theirs fluid in the reservoir) and follow the lines from the master cylinder to the wheels. Odds are though is that theres still a good amount of air in the lines. Hope this helped some
