I have my truck in the shop. Mechanic was going to check oil screen and oil pump stick to see if they were clogged. He called and said he couldn't remove oil pan without removing engine. Is this true? He already replace main oil seals. Evidently, he didnot check bearings before replacing seals.

Not only just lifted in these trucks but pretty much out. There isn't enough room to lift them becasue of the firwall and trans tunnel.
I tried it already. It was just not enough room to lift it while in the truck to get the pan all the way off.
It's a major repair.
