Replaced the battery and alternator. Worked fine for maybe 20 miles. After replacing alternator, battery charge was at 14. Now battery light is on and charge down to 7 (at halfway point). Battery cable connections are clean and tight. New battery. Wiring to alternator looks good and is tight. Alternator bolts have been checked again for tightness. No odd noises coming from alternator area when vehicle is running. Drive belt has less than 5K miles on it. No cracks, nicks or kinks. With ignition key on, battery light is on, but stays on when engine cranks up. What's next?
