1990 sierra, 350, milage 189.000,
Out of the blue? my truck started leaking oil spraying the cars behind me, no lights came on until I stopped. The oil is coming from the underside of the oil filter, making a loud blowing noise, and just drain out constantly. nothing comes out when the motor is off. But when I fill it, start it, it all comes out in a matter of minutes. everything from the oil filter housing area is wet/covered. from there up to the top of the motor is fine?
Does anyone know what could be doing this?

are there 2 aluminum tubes coming out of the block just ahead of the filter? those would be for the oil cooler and are known to crack.
