I know I have done things a little backwards while trying to fix my truck. So far I have replaced my plugs and wires (gapped them according to the emmisions sticker), coil, cap and rotor, and crank sensor. I am not getting a pulse when I do the reccomended test on the ignition module. I have checked all the appropriate fuses. I believe I have narrowed it down to the engine computer. My question is, do I need to pay to get my truck towed to the dealer and have them diagnose it further, or should I just buy the new one and install? Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.

Just my opinion, have it diagnosed. Generally speaking, engine computers, 96 and newer, may have to be programmed? If the problem is the computer. Engine cranking is there an injector pulse?
