1993 GMC Sierra truck just dies

For some reason my truck will just die, I replaced the module in the distributer and it worked for a day or so but now it dies again. It is totally a random thing as I can drive it for a couple of days without it happening and then it will happen a bunch of times in one day, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable mil codes? When the problem occurs, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs. Also, use a gage and check fuel pressure.
