OK. I have had the same problem and it took a while to track down the issue. What you have to do to correct this issue is pretty simple and won't cost anything if it's the same as mine. You need to take the front bezzel loose and get to the 4 screws that actually hold the odometer in. Loosen them (DO NOT TAKE THEM COMEPLETLY OUT) this will give you enough room to simply pull and push on the gauage cluster to where it will re-seat itself and clean all the contacts to the guage cluster. If your problem is the same as mine that will fix it.
