water in oil

1987 chevy p/u 1/2 ton 305 v/8 ,i"ve got the milkly looking oil under the oil filler cap but not on the dip stick.do you thank intake or head gasket or what ,Thanks :?:

Do an oil change and examine the oil. Let us know how that looks.

Let us know how that looks.[/quote:4529620585] sorry but i failed to let you know about the water lost .i can fill the radiator and overflow bottle and within 100 miles the bottle is empty. have not seen coolant on the ground or outside the engine .

Classic blown head gasket. Not sure how much damage has been done or if the truck is worth fixing at this point, it's up to you.
