AC Fan is confused

I have a 1998 Buick Regal with 84000 miles. The AC fan is behaving very strangely. Whenever the climate is warm the AC fan stops. It starts by itself after some time but all this is very irritating. Can you please suggest what could be wrong

The fan controller is located under the hood on the firewall behind the plastic cover. It is probably bad. Good luck

So somebody took the time to break into your car and they just cut your wires? They didn't take the stereo? Wow.

Are you sure you got all the wires they cut? Did you match the wires you put back together? Need a little more info from you to be able to answer.

Where is the stereo, still in the car.
Try to match the colour of wires and join it together.
Find Black, yellow and red wires. They are the power supply wires.
Black- ground
Yellow - Memory or permanent 12V
Red- 12V when acc on.

Gray-gray/black,
green, purple, white etc.

Those pairs are for speakers,
Any other wire (blue orbrown etc ) mucst be auto antenna supply.

Please correct me if I ma wrong, any comments are welcome.
