My car will not start sometimes. The instrument panel will do all sorts of weird things: the speedodometer will jump, the ASB light will come on, the engine will not turn over. The battery seens fine; however, when I have the key turned on and it will not start, I can try to turn the blinkers and it will shut the entire car down. Any suggestions. I have also taken it to a dealership and they once put a new CPU(the computer brains) in and it worked better for awhile.

It sounds like you have a classic ground problem. Check the ground from the battery to the engine, the engine to the body and the battery to the frame. Remove and clean them all it should solve your problem! Good luck
