while driving the other day, with headlights on, i
noticed the voltmeter on the dash slightly fluctuating
when I turned the blinker on.
any clues?
also, sometimes it's hard to start. Especially when warm, I have to turn the key a couple times before it
kicks in.

Get the alternator and battery tested. And also the fuel system pressure.

Sometimes it's hard to start. Especially when warm, I have to turn the key a couple times before it
kicks in.

What's happening is when you turn key on and off you're building up pressure, again check the pressure.
