Engine Mechanical problem
2001 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I am in the process of replacing my fuel pump and I broke the plastic return port at the top of the fuel pump. The port has broken with many jagged edges that fit together tightly without glue. Is there a glue that would work to adhere to this type of plastic and not be broken down by fuel?

I had also contemplated clamping a fuel hose to the whats left of the port. Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

if its return hose you could be able to put ahose clamp on it and put some sealer in it so you dont get a emissioin code to pop up. but first i would try geting some

Seal-all. found at auto part store is gastank repair solvent

works good and gets as hard as glass when done. id go with that.
