Hi, My motor was just replaced with a used motor but now my gas gauge will not work. the needle stays on empty and the low fuel light stays on.
I unhooked the battery for about 30 minutes and hooked it back up the needle went over to the full side then back down to the empty side. i do have gas in it
I've been reading and I have a P0446 error (Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction)
Could this be my problem?
Or if it's the Fuel Sending Unit where is that located and how hard of a job is it to replace?

if you had an engine replaced it may have cut a wire. the sender is in the tank and is sold as a unit. it's exspensive as it's $620. Check to see if you have a bllinking light on the purple wire near the tank with a test light. ALso your evap thing may be a lose gas cap. Also check to make sure all grounds are connected to the engine and body. If you have a blinking light on the purple wire the gauge should go up to full with a test light on it. Make sure the test light has a good ground..
