if the fuel relay has a loose connection, will it mess up the fuel pump? if so, is there a way to open up the fuse block and put new plugs inside the block? i have a fuse block for a s-10 truck that has good plugs in it but it doesn't match up completely to mine, so could i open it and get plugs out of one to put in another?

the problem you have here is that you may have a couple of different years with different suppliers. it may or may not fit . Most times the problem is the connection , not the box. and those are fixable. You can usuall buy the connectors at the dealer.....take the bad one out repair the wire to connector and reinstall it.
