why does my truck not go forward when i put it on drive

Hi there,

If you have reverse then the trans oil pump is working as it the torque converter, i would be thinking that it may be a valving problem in the valve body, this will have to be fully investigated by a transmission specialist as hands on testing will be require to fully diagnose this problem.
