2005 GMC Canyon rear window leaking

This is a 5 cylinder truck. Just discovered rear window is leaking. Research says it is probably third brake light assembly that has warped and is leaking. Can I replace this myself? Do I need instructions? Thank you

you might want to run a hose over area to make sure that is the problem.take the headliner down and make sure.you correct the leak with seam sealer.post back with any other questions.
