GMC AC vent air not working right

I am working on a 1998 gmc 1500 pick up/5.7 cui. 145,000 miles. When I press ac/max buttons the air comes out at the bottom. When I have the vent only the air comes out at the vents which is right. All my vent door linkages are in place.I have replaced the electronic blend door actutor. I am still having the same prolbem. I have disconnect the battary cables and touch them togather incase the actutor logic was lock. No luck I am still having the same problem. Will some one please help with this problem by either giving the solution or sending me documation on how this electronic actutor works.

Daniel, there is a link at the bottom of the main forum page for repair manuals, go there. All wiring diagrams and schematics you could ever want and they are printable as well. Your problem may even be the control head, if all other things are in working order
