2003 GMC C1500 starting

I have an 03 GMC SIERRA V6 with only 52000 miles, sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesnt. It loses power to the radio, tries to start but wont. If I let it set for a day or so it will start fine. I have heard there is problems with the instrument clusters in these trucks coull that be it or could it be a wiring harness maybe? It doesnt show any codes and the engine light is not on.

I would first suspect a battery connection. Thats most likely causing the problem. If it has 2 positive cables going to the positive side then I would suspect the lead spacer in beween the 2 is melted and needs replacement
