I have an 03 GMC SIERRA V6 with only 52000 miles , sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesnt. It loses power to the radio, tries to start but wont.If I let it set for a day or so it will start fine. I have heard there is problems with the instrument clusters in these trucks coull that be it or could it be a wiring harness maybe??? It doesnt show any codes and the engine light is not on.

thanks for any help or hints.

i would first suspect a battery connection. thats most likely causing the problem. if it has 2 positive cables going to the positive side then i would suspect the lead spacer in beween the 2 is melted and needs replacement
