My 1994 GMC pickup is overheating and there is water dripping (sometimes pouring) into the passenger side floorboard. I think it is the heater coil. At least that is the bonehead choice. I really can't afford to get it fixed right now so I was wondering if there was a way to re-route the water flow so that I can go back and forth to work. Is this possible?

THANKS FOR THE HELP !

That would be heater core. And yes this can be bypassed. There are two hoses going into the core through the firewall. Either 5/8" or 3/4" hoses. Get a brass nipple-dayco makes them. OR a flushing tee will also work if it has the odd leg with a cap.

Remove the hoses, cut them if needbe and splice them together.
