I have a 1988 Gmc Sierra with a 5.7 and TBI injection. When the truck is cold it is hard to start. When I turn the truck over it seems to load up with fuel. After about 5 minnutes of trying to start the truck I have to spray starting fluid in the throttle body and when I remove the air cleaner I can smell the fuel. Once the truck starts it misses and has no power to the truck warms up. I have changed the throttle body and coolant temp sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, and many other parts. Any ideas would help me out greatley

TBI motors are very hard to start when cold especially on those models, when the spray comes out it hits the cold throttle body and doesnt vaporize and the vapor is what causes an engien to run.

Could be a bad coollant temperature sensor.
