1994 Geo Prizm Engine dies at stop or when trying to accele

I took the car to the shop 2 days ago and they replaced the fuel filter and throttle position sensor. It ran fine but then started right back up. Stop at a stop sign, then when you take off the engine just dies. I also noticed that it happens when the motor warms up. I really like the car but I'm not going to keep dumping money into it if it just going to keep dying. Please I need help.

Check the fuel pressure, idle air control valve and MAP sensor to include the EGR and PCV valves

Did all that you said and it still stalled out. Took it to the dealership and they had no idea what was wrong. Turned out to be the ignition coil inside the distributor cap. The car would get warmed up and overheat the coil and stall the car out. I changed the coil and it hasn't stalled out again. So anyone with this same problem be sure to check this. Thank you.

I have the same problem sort of and now I can't wait to get out there this morning and see if that is what it is! Thanks! I'll let ya know when I do. The car has been sitting for a while and was about ready to tow it away!
