Hi, I have a 1991 Geo Prizm with just over 205,000 miles on it. A few months ago I replaced the sparks, wires/distributor cap, fuel filter, air filter and a tire. Ever since I have noticed a significant drop in mpg and I have oil getting into my cylinders. Seems to be more in #1 and 3 out of 4 cylinders. It uses about a quart every 400-500 miles. Instead of getting the 33-35 mpg of fuel, I now get about 28. HMMMM, any ideas? Other than the oil in cylinders and mpg drop, the car still runs fine.

Make sure the new plugs are tight, they use a compression ring at the base of the plug and if not properly torqued, they can leak. You should replace the tube seals for the plugs. You would have to take off the valve cover to do this.
If the tube seals are leaking you would see oil in the plug tube, which would interfere with the spark plug electrical connection.

You also probably have worn valve seals. If the car puts out blue smoke on start-up, the seals are bad.
The camshafts would need to be removed to change seals.
