HI OK THIS WHAT I AM ASKING MY GEO RUN HOT I CHANGE THE THERMOSTAT AND THE FAN DOES RUN BUT WENT YOU COME TO A STOP OR AT A RED LIGHT IT SEEM TO GO TO THE RED IS IT THE WATER PUMP OR IS IT THE RADIATOR PLEASE HELP ME BECAUSE I LOVE MY CAR AND DO NOT WANT TO MESS IT UP PLEASE HELP.

Open up the radiator cap and have helper start the car while you look inside the opening -do you see the coolant squirling around if so have the helper increase engine speed did the coolant flow increase if so the water pump is okay-On the radiator while engine is idling feel the radiator for cold spots could also be airlock try bleeding it, if it continues get it block and pressure tested.
